Dow Increases Off-List Prices for UCON Fluids & Lubricants October 1, 2006

Midland, MI - September 06, 2006

Effective August 31, 2006, The Dow Chemical Company is increasing off-list prices for all UCON™ Fluids and Lubricants and SYNALOX™ Lubricants in North America effective October 1, 2006, or as contracts allow by the following amounts:

  • Off-list prices of UCON Hydrolube Concentrates will increase by US$0.04/lb.
  • Off-list prices of UCON Fully Formulated Hydrolubes and High Pressure Fluids will increase by US$0.04/lb.
  • Off-list prices of UCON LB, HB and H-series base fluids, and SYNALOX™ series base fluids will increase by US$0.04/lb.
  • Off-list prices of UCON TPEG and MPEG products will increase by US$0.02/lb.

In addition, off-list prices of the following formulated UCON products or their off-brand equivalents will increase by US$0.04/lb:

UCON Coating Fluids UCON Calendar Lubricants
UCON Heat Transfer Fluids UCON Compressor Lubricants
UCON Hydraulic Fluids UCON Food Grade Lubricants
UCON Process Fluids UCON Formulated HB and H series Lubricants
UCON Solder Assist Fluids UCON LB-X Lubricants
  UCON Metalworking Lubricants
  UCON Sugar Lubricants
  UCON Textile and Rubber Lubricants
  UCONALL™ Lubricants
